The journey started with designing of a coal fired furnace in 1985. We have been the technology providers for ferrous and non -ferrous metal powders in India since 1987. We have been setting up various manufacturing facilities at different places in India and have facilitated the same with our expertise to help their powders get national and international recognition. Earlier known as S.Mohanty & Co, Involute Metal Powder Technologies LLP continues to bring more innovative and advanced methods of metal powder production

We changed the scenario of Powder Metallurgy in India in 1997 by introducing and inventing Partially alloyed bronze powder to Indian Market.

 The development  for a process of making sponge iron powders through different materials started. It was time to explore the market and provide solutions to the existing gaps. 

 More developments in conversion of ores, process development for high density Iron powders 

 Mr. S. MOHANTY - A Pioneer in Powder Metallurgy, having worked as a consultant in this field since the last four decades, he has many patents to his credit. A mathematician, entrepreneur, research scientist for whole life has been contributing to process development of ferrous & non -ferrous powders.

 Ms.SOUMYA VILEKAR holds the passion and art together for the different kind of processes involved for copper powder & holds a joint patent in process of making partially alloyed bronze powders. She works in diversified fields and is a strategic advisor, business consultant and  entrepreneur in different sectors.

Mr.SOUMITRA MOHANTYhas been actively involved in  commissioning of turnkey projects including various setting up of  equipments, handling  furnaces and  manage quality for product and sales.
